Job Title: Senior Account Manager (India)
Location: New Delhi Description:
The Senior Account Manager will cover large international and
local companies with a significant presence in India and will be responsible
for selling Forrester’s research and consulting to clients and prospects in
India. You will manage a first-year quota made up of existing clients and new
business from the designated territory within the target sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Achieving (>) 100% of individual quota.
* Leading overall strategy and activity in the targeted accounts. * Positioning Forrester as the research and advisory company of choice. * Properly positioning and managing internal resources to effectively address external opportunities. * Forecasting, budgeting, tracking, and reporting key metrics every week and month to your manager. * Generating new leads and managing your pipeline. * Scheduling new business appointments and visiting clients. * Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships and satisfaction.
Requirements:
* A bachelor’s degree and eight-plus years of sales experience.
* Successful outside sales experience selling information technology and/or professional services products. * Excellent interpersonal, team-playing, and team-building skills. * Experience selling to senior-level executives (senior VP, general manager, regional CEO, etc.). * Experience selling into large organizations at tier one companies. * Excellent presentation and communication skills (essential). * Someone who is self-motivated and has an entrepreneurial spirit. * Fluency in English. * Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients; some travel for internal training. * A Indian passport or valid Indian work and residency permits are required.
